If you are considering dermal fillers to help enhance your appearance, it’s important to understand the process of how the treatment actually works here at Avenue 1 Aesthetics. Before your treatment starts, you will have a consultation with one of our qualified healthcare professionals to first go over your goals and assess your skin. This will help to go over and explain the different types of fillers available, the benefits and risks of the treatment and also help you to decide what the best option is for you.
During the treatment, filler is injected into the targeted areas using a small needle or cannula. You may experience some discomfort during this part of the treatment and it usually only takes a few minutes for the treatment to complete. After your treatment has finished, you may experience mild swelling, redness or bruising, but this is completely normal and should subside within a few days. We may advice you to avoid exercise, saunas and alcohol for at least 24-48 hours after the treatment.
Results with dermal fillers are typically visible immediately and can last from several months to over a year depending on what type of dermal filler has been used during your treatment. We usually recommend maintenance type treatments to maintain the best desired result.

It’s just the right amount so I didn’t bruise at all and still look like me. I really love Morpheus which is microneedling. It really improved my fine lines and tightness. I would go back.
